Foreign Direct Investment & Retail Sector

The Indian government needs to confer with several stake-holders on granting Foreign Direct Investment in multi-brand retail and the ambit in such investitures in other spheres (Agriculture, Defence...)

The back-end operations (Retail sector) have to be toned up first, as that would lead to value addition, higher earnings for farmers, and will also produce better job opportunities!
